Expertise Across the Hydrogen Value Chain
Based in Bellinzona, Switzerland, GhenPower was founded in May 2023 as a spin-off of Premel SA, a leader in backup energy generation systems. GhenPower is dedicated to the sustainable production and conversion of energy on a large scale, offering comprehensive solutions across the entire hydrogen value chain. This includes hydrogen production (using electrolysis, reforming, and photovoltaics), hydrogen storage and distribution (including metal hydrides, a key area of synergy with GRZ), fuel cell systems (for various applications), and engineering and maintenance services.
GhenPower’s commitment to sustainability aligns perfectly with GRZ’s mission to replace fossil-based energy systems with safe, cost-efficient, and sustainable hydrogen solutions.
